Common Performance Issues
- Low frames per second (FPS)
- Graphical glitches and errors
- An uneven of jerky gameplay experience
- Poor video quality in-game
Simple Solutions:
- Make sure that you have checked the system requirements for the game you are attempting to play and made sure that your system meets at least the minimum required specifications.
- Ensure that you close unnecessary programs while gaming, as they can have a negative impact on your computer's performance. Such programs include web browsers, background applications running in your system tray, and similar.
- Make certain that your computer is not engaged in downloading Windows updates, other games, or similar tasks. Engaging in activities that involve writing to your hard drive can significantly diminish your computer's performance.
- Consider switching between windowed or borderless windowed modes and full screen mode. Such adjustments could potentially boost your frames per second (FPS) during gameplay.
- If you are overclocking your system at all, please try the game again with the default hardware settings instead - also try setting your graphic options to the lowest settings and the retest.

This may seem like a simple solution, but it's also very important. Having your Windows up-to-date provide fixes to possible bugs and security holes as well as cleaning up any outdated software that may be slowing down your system.
