For those of you who have already purchased Blasphemous 2 on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, you will now have FREE access to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions!
For Xbox players, this should be automatic and you will retroactively receive the Xbox One version - just log into your console, and go into to My games and apps > See all. In here, choose Full library > All owned games. If a game you own hasn’t yet been installed on your console, you’ll see a download icon on the game title. Selecting the title will prompt you to install the game.
On PlayStation, if you purchased the game before the 1st of November 2023 on PlayStation 5, you will need to go into the store on your PlayStation 4 console and purchase the PS4 version for FREE. To do this:
- Go to the PS store on your console
- Search for Blasphemous 2 - if you own the PS5 version you should see the PS4 version on the store for FREE and you can then purchase this like any other free game from the store
- Once purchased both versions should be available from your library
If you purchased the game on your PlayStation 4 or 5 after the 1st of November 2023, you will get both versions automatically without needing to redeem anything else from the store.
If you are a PlayStation player located in Germany this process will be slightly different - you will be able to download the PS4 version for free if you have PS+ and own the PS5 version. If you do not have PS+ but own the PS5 version, you will have to pay a small fee in order to get the PS4 version. This is due to consumer laws in Germany which Sony adheres to.
If you have any problems at all redeeming your game, please don't hesitate to contact us over here.
