If you are trying to play a game through the wrong graphics card on your PC, you could find that you are experiencing issues such as glitches, lower FPS or visual errors as well as missing out on a higher performance experience.

To make sure you are getting the optimal experience when playing, you should first make sure that your PC meets all the minimum requirements for the game you are attempting to play.

To make sure you are running your games through the correct AMD card, please see the steps provided below.

How to set your AMD Graphics Card as Default

If your computer has AMD graphics hardware, you can use the company’s Radeon software to manually set a graphics card as the default option. You can download this software from the official AMD website by clicking right here!

Once you have the AMD Radeon software installed, please follow these instructions:

  1. Right-click on your Desktop and select the AMD Radeon Software
  2. Once this launches, find the gear icon in the top-right corner of the window and click it
  3. Then select the Graphics tab
  4. Scroll to find and select Advanced
  5. Go to GPU Workload
  6. Click on the drop-down menu and select your GPU
  7. Choose OK and then restart the Radeon Software
  8. After the changes are in effect, close Radeon Software

Once you have done this you can restart your computer and then play your games directly through your AMD graphics card.
