If you find that you are experiencing an issue where XP is no longer being awarded in-game correctly - this may be due to a few different reasons, such as your game being hidden or a server that needs to be whitelisted.

Below, we have put together some solutions that have resolved this issue for multiple players.
__________________________________________________________________________________

Firstly, we would recommend to check whether or not the issue occurs on official AND community servers, and how many servers (if it's only one community server, this indicates the server needs to be whitelisted). If this is the case, please contact the server owner or admin about them requesting from their server provider for the server to be whitelisted.

You can try the following steps for yourself if the issue occurs on all servers:

Please make sure that the game is not hidden in your library:

  1. Open Steam and go to Hell Let Loose in your Steam Library
  2. On the main library page where it says 'Play', on the right side there is a Settings button (the cog) > click the cog and select Manage
  3. Then select Remove from Hidden

Then, can you please check if you have Hell Let Loose set to private? To do this:

  1. Open the Steam Library and select Hell Let Loose
  2. On the Hell Let Loose page, look for the cog icon on the right of the screen
  3. Click the cog and select Manage > Select Unmark as Private if this option is available

Then please retest the game and see if you are now able to get XP as intended.

Make sure to completely close down Steam (Exit, do not just press the 'x' as this does not close Steam correctly) and then reload and to make sure that you are properly connected to the internet and that you're online on Steam.

If there is a break in the connection it will show as everything reset.

If the issue persists, please also run the game as an administrator and see if your rank is correct.

Right-click the game in your Steam Library.
• Go to Properties then the Installed Files tab.
• Click 'Browse'.
• Locate the game executable (the application).
• Right-click it and go to Properties.
• Click the Compatibility tab.
• Check the Run this program as an administrator box.

If that doesn’t help, please can you make sure that the drive you have the game installed to on your PC has space available on it and to either make space on the drive or install the game to a drive that has available space if not.

If you still find that you're not gaining XP when playing matches in Hell Let Loose, please do feel free to contact us directly!
