Recently, we've received multiple reports from players who are experiencing an issue where XP is no longer being awarded in-game correctly - this issue appears to have surfaced following a recent and scheduled Steam Maintenance.

Our dedicated team is actively investigating and diligently working on a resolution alongside Valve and we're hoping for a fix as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we have put together some solutions that have resolved this issue for multiple players.

Firstly, please make sure that the game is not hidden in your library:

  1. Open Steam and go to Hell Let Loose in your Steam Library
  2. On the main library page where it says 'Play', on the right side there is a Settings button (the cog) > click the cog and select Manage
  3. Then select Remove from Hidden

If you are using the Steam Client Beta, can you please check if you have Hell Let Loose set to private? To do this:

  1. Open the Steam Library and select Hell Let Loose
  2. On the Hell Let Loose page, look for the cog icon on the right of the screen
  3. Click the cog and select Manage > Select Unmark as Private if this option is available

Then please retest the game and see if you are now able to get XP as intended.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused during this period. We understand how frustrating it can be to not receive the experience points you've earned through your efforts. Rest assured, we are committed to resolving this issue as swiftly as possible.

Please be aware that, at this stage, we cannot confirm if any future fix will be retroactive.

We thank you for your patience and understanding in the meantime.
