If you are receiving the 'A Network error has occurred. Please try again.' error, you may be having some connection or network issues.

We appreciate this error can be frustrating and can disrupt your gaming experience. We hope that the steps in this article will provide you with effective troubleshooting steps to help you get back into action.

First, we would like to recommend that you try revoking any Hell Let Loose permissions on your Microsoft account and then reinstalling the game.

  1. To do this, pop over to the following link in a browser window https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/.
  2. Log in to your Microsoft account that is connected to your Xbox account. 
  3. Then go to 'App access' and next to Hell Let Loose click 'Don't Allow'.
  4. Once this has been done, please uninstall the game on the Xbox game pass app. *
  5. Then reinstall the game on the same app. *
  6. Launch the title, and click to allow any authorisations that pop up as below:

 

Once you've done this, please try to load into a server and hopefully the issue will be resolved! 

* To uninstall a game on the Xbox app:

  1. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type Xbox, and then select Xbox.
  2. In the list of installed games on the left side of the app, right-click the game you want, and then select Uninstall game.

* To uninstall a game on the Windows app:

  1. Sign in to your Microsoft account on your Windows 10/11 device.
  2. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type settings, and then select Settings.
  3. Select Apps > Apps & features.
  4. On Windows 10, Choose the game you want to uninstall from the list and then select Uninstall two times. On Windows 11, select the More actions button (“…”), and then select Uninstall two times.

* To reinstall a game on the Xbox app:

  1. Select the Search icon on the taskbar, type Xbox, and then select Xbox to open the Xbox app.
  2. If you have purchased the title, click 'My Library', find Hell Let Loose, click this and then click 'Install'.
  3. If you have Game Pass, click the 'Game Pass' option, search for Hell Let Loose again, click this and click to install.

* To reinstall the game on the Microsoft Store:

  1. To install a game from the Microsoft Store, select the Store tab, and then choose a game or type it in the search box. On the game's page, select one of the following:
     
    • Buy: Make sure to choose the correct edition in the drop-down before confirming your purchase.
    • Get: This applies to free games.
    • Install: This applies to games you already own.

    Your game or add-on starts installing when your transaction is complete.

     

    If the above steps have not helped, please uninstall the game, then before re-installing the game please uninstall and reinstall the Xbox App:

    To uninstall the Xbox App:

    1. Click on the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen, then select Settings.
    2. Click on Apps.
    3. In the “Search this list” field, type Xbox. A list of all the relevant apps will appear.
    4. In the list, click on Xbox then click on Uninstall.
    5. A pop-up will open. Click Uninstall again to confirm your choice.
    6. Next, click on Xbox App then click on Uninstall.
    7. Click Uninstall again to confirm your choice.

     

    To reinstall the Xbox App:

    1. Go to the Xbox app for Windows PC or open the Microsoft Store and search for "Xbox"
    2. Click on the Download the app button.
    3. Follow the installation process.
    4. Sign in with your email address
    5. Download Hell Let Loose via the Xbox App

     Then attempt to load into a server!

     

    If the error still shows up, click the Windows button and type Command. Then open Command Prompt by selecting Run as administrator on the right-hand panel.

    Then type the following lines:

    • • netsh winsock reset
    • • ipconfig /flushdns

    Then reboot your PC and retest the game.
