First, we recommend to remove the LauncherInfo.hllinfo file, as well as running Steam and the game both as an administrator. To do this, please follow the steps below!

To remove the LauncherInfo.hllinfo file:

  1. Open your Steam Library
  2. Right-click Hell Let Loose and select Properties
  3. In the left-hand panel, enter the Installed Files tab
  4. Click on 'Browse...'
  5. Locate LauncherInfo.hllinfo file and delete it

To run the game as an administrator on Windows 10:

  1. Right-click the game in your Steam Library
  2. Go to Properties then the 'Installed Files' tab
  3. Click 'Browse'
  4. Locate the game executable (the application)
  5. Right-click it and go to Properties
  6. Click the Compatibility tab
  7. Check the Run this program as an administrator box

To run Steam as an administrator on Windows 10:

  1.  Navigate to your Steam install folder (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam)
  2. Locate the application
  3. Right-click it and go to Properties
  4. Click the Compatibility tab
  5. Check the Run this program as an administrator box

To run the game as an administrator on Windows 11:

  1. Right-click the game in your Steam Library
  2. Go to Properties then the 'Installed Files' tab
  3. Click 'Browse'
  4. Locate the game executable (the application) and left-click it to highlight the application
  5. Then right-click it and select Show More Options
  6. Then select Properties
  7. Click the Compatibility tab
  8. Check the Run this program as an administrator box

To run Steam as an administrator on Windows 11:

  1. Navigate to your Steam install folder (Default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam)
  2. Locate the game executable (the application) and left-click it to highlight the application
  3. Then right-click it and select Show More Options
  4. Then select Properties
  5. Click the Compatibility tab
  6. Check the Run this program as an administrator box

Please also make sure to add the following files to your Windows Defender:

  • HLL.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose
  • HLL_BugReportUploader.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose
  • HLL-Win64-Shipping.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose\HLL\Binaries\Win64
  • EasyAntiCheat.exe - Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat
  • EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe - Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose\EasyAntiCheat
  • Launch_HLL.exe - Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose

To do this on Windows Defender, please press the Windows key + I to open your Windows Settings. Then:

  1. Go to 'Privacy & Security' and select 'Windows Security'
  2. In Windows Security, click on 'Virus & Threat Protection'
  3. Under 'Virus & Threat Protection Settings' click on 'Manage Settings' under 'Virus & Threat Protection'
  4. Scroll down to the 'Exclusions' section and click on 'Add or remove exclusions'
  5. Click on 'Add an exclusion' and choose the type of exclusion you want to add (File, Folder, File Type, or Process)
  6. Choose 'File' and then 'Browse' and select the file you want to exclude
  7. Add the above files suggested and then confirm your selection - these will now be added to your Exceptions

• Please note: if you are using a third-party anti-virus software, the steps for this will be different and we would recommend referring to your manufacturer's instructions on how to add exceptions.

You can also try flushing your DNS.

To do this, click the Windows button and type Command. Then open Command Prompt by selecting Run as administrator on the right-hand panel.

Then type the following lines:

  • netsh winsock reset
  • ipconfig /flushdns

Then reboot your PC and retest the game.
