If your game shows you the 'No compatible servers found' error message, we have a few solutions that may help resolve this issue.
__________________________________________________________________________________
Solution 1:
Firstly, please check that you are not attempting to launch the Hell Let Loose (Public Testing) branch. The 'No Compatible Servers Found' error will pop up if players are trying to launch Hell Let Loose (Public Testing), instead of Hell Let Loose. Hell Let Loose (Public Testing) was a beta version that was deactivated before the game was released and therefore, so were the servers.
Whilst the beta version is installable, the servers are not and will not work for players.
Solution 2:
It's important to check that your anti-virus/firewall is not blocking the game at all and add any exceptions needed. You can also try disabling your anti-virus software or firewall to test whether the servers then show.
Please add the following program files to your whitelist:
- HLL.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose
- HLL_BugReportUploader.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose
- HLL-Win64-Shipping.exe - Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose\HLL\Binaries\Win64
- EasyAntiCheat.exe - Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat
- EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe - Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose\EasyAntiCheat
- Launch_HLL.exe - Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hell Let Loose
To do this, please press the Windows key + I to open your Windows Settings. Then:
- Go to 'Privacy & Security' and select 'Windows Security'
- In Windows Security, click on 'Virus & Threat Protection'
- Under 'Virus & Threat Protection Settings' click on 'Manage Settings' under 'Virus & Threat Protection'
- Scroll down to the 'Exclusions' section and click on 'Add or remove exclusions'
- Click on 'Add an exclusion' and choose the type of exclusion you want to add (File, Folder, File Type, or Process)
- Choose 'File' and then 'Browse' and select the file you want to exclude
- Add the above files suggested and then confirm your selection - these will now be added to your Exceptions
Solution 3:
We also recommend trying to run the HLL.exe file as administrator.
- Go to the Steam installation directory and right-click Steam.exe
- Select Properties
- Navigate to the Compatibility tab and check the box for Run this program as an administrator
- Then go to the Hell Let Loose installation directory and repeat the steps on the HLL.exe file
- Then retest the game
Solution 4:
Change your Steam region:
- Launch Steam
- At the upper left corner go to Steam > Settings (a window will pop)
- Go to Downloads
- Change your Download Region to EU, US, or RU (you should choose the country that's closest to your location)
- You can also try various regions near your location to see if a better connection is available
Then, run the Steam client as an Administrator:
- Go to your Program Files (x86)\Steam folder
- Right-click Steam.exe
- Select Properties
- Select the Compatibility tab and click Run this program as an administrator
- Launch Steam and Hell Let Loose
Solution 5:
Turn off IPV6:
- In the Windows Control Panel, go to Network and Internet, press on Network and Sharing Centre
- Click the Change Adapter Settings button, and RMB on the network you are currently using - this could be Ethernet or WiFi
- Select Properties
- In the following window, disable the IPV6 checkbox and press OK to save the changes
- Restart your laptop or desktop
Please note: You may need to tick and untick this if it's already unticked.
Solution 6:
