Driver updates fix security and compatibility problems, errors, and broken code. Sometimes, depending on the manufacturer, they even add features to the hardware

How to manually update your NVIDIA drivers:
Click here to go to the official NVIDIA website to download the newest drivers for your graphics card.
- Select your graphics card from the drop-down list provided and click Search
- The latest version for your driver will now appear, you should then select Download
- Once you have downloaded the latest version, open the file and follow the instructions provided
How to automatically update your NVIDIA drivers:
Click here to go to the official NVIDIA website to download GeForce Experience.
When you launch GeForce Experience it should automatically search for updates, however, if it doesn't, you can select Drivers next to Home. Once you go to Drivers, you can Check for Updates here and then Download them as needed.
